Schlemko hip checked him and his leg whipped around pretty hard. Looked like a charliehorse at first, but when he went down the tunnel 5 minutes later, he couldn't put any weight on it.

Hope its not a knee, he's had injury problems right from Medicine Hat into OKC. Pretty fragmented development, I wa shoping he finally broke through, he's got the tools, and most of a toolbox.

Perron is the kind of guy perennial playoff teams are rife with.

Hopefully for a while until Yak figures out he has linemates he can pass too instead of trying to beat 5 guys all on his own.

He will figure it out, but it's frustrating watching him screw up Ebs and Nuge's chemistry.

Didn't we call that move last game?
Eakins tries it for one shift.. goal.

I think he'll keep it for a while, Oilers need goals, put your bets on one line to at least have one dangerous line that can make plays and finish.

What was LaBarbera malfunctioning about there? He should've had that.

Special teams are just killing us. Think Krueger would take an assistant coaching job with us? Pretty sure we can solidly confirm that Smith and Buchy are useless for anything relating to on ice performance. Maybe they can make a sweet cup of coffee or something for Lowe, but aside from that...useless.

I remember when we had a pretty good pp. And pk. Then Eakins started coaching it. Last pp goal for the Oilers came in the 1st against the Leafs 2 weeks ago if I'm not mistaken.

Goaltending has been awful this season, but its special teams that are paving the way to the lottery.

In fairness to Hall, I've wanted to throw a waterbottle at Eakins all season.

Yeah, but they throw it around the perimeter all pretty like. It's kind of Globetrotter-ish. Except that we don't score. And you need to overlook the Generals going down and scoring on us.

What they need is somebody that will actually take a shot from the point! Yotes did it on their PP, 2 goals. Nuge took a point shot, goal.

If there was a stat for point shots we'd have the worst.

Seriously? interference on Smid?

That is a BS call.

I hope Eakins loses his marbles in the presser after the game bout that call. Maybe galvanize the boys a little. Give them an us vs the world attitude. And that call was horrendous especially at that point in the game.

I don't even know what to say anymore. Our special teams are awful. Our goaltending is worse than awful.

7 PP's vs. 2 for the Oil, don't the refs know the NHL doesn't own the team anymore?

More NHL ref incompetence.

Was wondering the same thing.

Just assuming the wobbling puck would slow down on its own. It didn't, but can't take the wave back at that point.
