So Fat Phil blocked a trade a few weeks ago, yet is happy to go to Arizona? To each his own.

Bob Marley and the (Hartford) Wailers.

Judging by reports out of Pittsburgh, maybe he was enticed by the thought of getting to play at Gila River regularly.

8 team list. Would guess all US locations with highest weight put on tax rates and where fans/media don't care about the team.

Pacific division just got tougher. Last year would have been a great opportunity for the Oilers to be competent.

Looking like we will have to beat out at least one of the Coyotes, Sharks, Golden Knights, and Flames. I don't like our chances right now.

Clean house or bust

Kessel, for how great of a player he is, sure has alienated a lot of his teams. It would be interesting to be a fly on the wall. I am a believer in working with talented bad attitudes. But he's older now, still scoring at a PPG pace, and seems to burn bridges everywhere he goes. Would love to know the story.

One thing that is being played up is how Tocchet was apparently the guy that was a buffer between Sullivan and Kessel when they were on the Pens, and that Sullivan was always irritated by Kessel. Probably one of the other big reasons Kessel had Arizona on his trade list.
