I am probably going to get shelled for saying this, but if the price was right to get Rick Nash from NYR, would you do it?
I know he is old and is slowing down but I think he is someone who has the creativity to play with McDavid. We keep hoping that someone other than Drai can figure out playing with McDavid but someone with hands and maybe some experience would go along way.
I have no idea what the Rangers would expect in return but I can't imagine if they want to rid themselves of him that they can expect anything other than a 2nd rounder??

Very good chance that the Rangers deal Nash at the deadline this year to someone. I don't think we could take him on early in the season, because that $7.8MM deal looms large.
It would be an interesting thing if Nash ended up here, given that Howson is the one who dealt him from Columbus...
Not sure he's an upgrade speed-wise for the Oilers, but good hands. He'd be a nice add.

If he can play the right side, then he's an upgrade on what we have in terms of natural RWers.
Obviously wouldn't be a lot to acquire, but not sure if Maroon can anchor that left side then.
