...The captain Duck Special Neids backhands home a pass from Selanne just as an Oilers penalty expired. Pronger with the other helper, his 2nd of the game. Boo-urns.

Hemsky feeds a cross-ice pass to Stoll in the left circle, who one-times a blast past Giguere. No chance whatever. Good times.

Saskanese have 4 of the 5 goals tonight. icon_thumbsup

Tis true...Hemsky is the ultimate in unnecessary mooooves.

However, they do seem to work once in a while. He just refuses to play basic 'Brad Richards' hockey. Hey, whatever works for him.

Atleats we get excited every time he touches the puck.

1) If Matt Greene did what Pronger did to start the rush that lead to the fourth Ducks goal, he'd have gotten a penalty. The one penalty Greene did get wasn't even half that bad.

2) I forgot how much I HATE Todd Marchant.

3) The ice in Anaheim sucks. 80% of the passes are hopping all over the place.

4) Rolo's off tonight a bit. At least he was on goal four.

Oh no, I witnessed the whole thing and I agree Juice was great, but pre-Roli that trio was brutal, and you cannot deny that. Hence the 50+ games part. You can't possibly base 6 games on how many games and points they all should've had for us during regular season. Find me consecutive solid performances from any of them pre-Roli, and well, I'll praise you. But on the other hand that 8th spot finish really did help us in the long run. Who knows what would've happened if we had finished 4th or 5th. All in all one Roli is better than a Conks and a Mo combined.

p.s. I was one of the only ppl. I knew who was pissed when Juice was traded to the NY Rags, and one of the happiest when KLowe brought him back. Conklin should have been the one gone in the first place.

Well, ironically enough, Conklin had won 3 straigth games before he got pulled in the SO in favor of Morrison. He had like a .900 SV% during that stretch.

But yeah, I agree with the sentiment, I was just looking for some praise. icon_biggrin

I thought that's the way it went.

I guess like the rest of us, MacT went with what clearly is his most successful goaltender to this point of the season. Really, in my mind Roloson has been the team MVP.

But, step back for a bit and check back-up's exemplary record versus the Burkie-led Ducks and throw in some 20/20 hindsight?

Well...

meh, you're gonna lose a few during the season...let's hope they bounce back tomorrow night against the sad-sack 'Yotes

sucks to lose to Pronger and the Quackers but the next 2 are winnable...gotta get it done
