It’s like Archibald is made out of lead and weighs 300lbs when he makes contact.

Weber down the hall.

What exactly has Kassian done besides sign a huge extension and score against the Flames to be relegated to 4th line under 10 minute duty?

His contract has turned into an albatross before it’s even kicked in. It’d be nice to see some speed with McDavid on that top line to open up seams.

A somewhat fluke OIL goal to support the usual illusion that the OIL can pull this one out of their rear ends. icon_rolleyes

Still so awful at working together to get pucks out. So many guys can't sense when we just need to grind and clear. Always looking for a chance to fly the zone.

I've seen enough of 89 and 39 on McD's line coach's mistake taking 44 off 97's line.
Maybe put 93 and Yamo on McD's line let him experience someone who can actually play hockey..

2 wingers that have no clue what to do in their own end (and barely a clue in the offensive zone) with McDavid. Sadly, I can't think of many better options if Drai is getting the only 2 decent wingers on this team.

Yeah, I don't mind 44 there, but he needs another top 6 guy. Adding a solid top 6 winger with speed on that top line would completely change the complexion of the team IMO.

Are we waiting until year 4 of Kassian's new deal before he plays hard again? That's a long wait.

Low energy in the Oilers' game. Not much from so-called heavy energy players either. The Oilers generally arrive at a game quiet, don't react to a shove into the boards of McDavid and probably an injury of some kind. You beat the Oilers by singing them a lullaby, because the only way to a pulse for them is to be reactive.

You can have Chiasson on the top line. You can have Gagner on the top line. Never both.

Please prove me wrong, but any success will be McDavid driven.

Grateful, but like I think Adam said last game it’s a gutless call by the refs. It’s either tripping or diving. Can’t be both.

What kind of battler does this make Smith?

I must now know the pecking order of battlers in the crease now.
