Just the usual NHL rule... defender is allowed one free shot or cross check on any forward who takes a shot from within 10 feet. Can't be too annoyed, since Smid takes advantage of it quite a bit.

RNH is back, but that said, I am for the idea that there should be less games in an NHL season. Injuries happen in sports, but hockey is a lot closer to football than it is to basketball or baseball.

My idea, no shoulder pads, like rugby, lot less damage in that game and they are always hitting.
No more football-linebacker type hits, you don't hit as hard if you know you'll hurt just as bad.
Bobby Orr didn't even wear shoulder pads, just little cups sewn into an under-shirt.
