8:30 start time for me tonight and I have a bit of a cold... Doubt I will make the entire game tonight, but hopefully the Oilers can win of these two... I doubt they beat Minnesota tomorrow, so hopefully they can at least take out the Blackhawks.

Go Oil Go!

I’m thinking the 4th line with their chemistry gets on the board tonight !
Let’s go!

I like it!!!

Start a nice win streak tonight!

LA is fading fast. We can get third if we play good

Shocked to see Cal Petersen on waivers. Just started his 3x5M extension this year.

Skinner in net vs......uh oh.....Arvid Soderblom? Undrafted 23 year old rookie Swedish goaltender who has two career wins, and only one from a + .500 team.

I've seen this movie before.......hopefully we have moved past this and torch the kid. From what I have read he struggles with rebound control and puck tracking.

Won’t matter. Skinner is getting a shut out anyway. We will win 1-0 if we have to lol

Opportunity for Benson. I have to think he's running out of runway with the Oilers. Needs to seize it.

The question is, can Benson make it to game time without being hurt? Life is just full of peril. Towels on the floor to trip on. Walls and door frames you could bang your shoulder into. The drop from the bench to the ice level.

Staying healthy is one thing. But also making an impact in some ways. I thought last year in the 29 games he got in, he was mostly just out there on the ice giving the main guys a breather. I guess for the most part nothing bad usually happened but not a lot of good happened either. To me, the Oilers have a lot of guys in the bottom 6 who are just out there and are similar players.

That's been the M.O. since the 2006 Cup run...bottom six guys just buying rest time for the top two lines. If you do not scored on in Edmonton then you are earning a multi-year deal. Bottom forwards being a placeholder is now the norm.

I think the Oilers need a better defensively Archibald. A guy who skates well, goes hard most games, can chip in some goals, kills some penalties and have a physical edge to his game.

Sounds like what Tyler Bendon is trying to evolve his game into. 🤞🏽

It would be nice. I am not sure Benson is as fast or hits as well but they could use a guy like that. For all the grief Archibald got, he does have 4 goals and is +8 in Pittsburgh. Oilers could use a guy like that in the bottom 6.

'Hawks and their fans getting the shaft from national TV tonight. 8:30 local start time is unacceptable. Gotta make sure Jericho gets the prime TV time I guess.

Oilers will be second banana to the end of the Leafs game again too. Rogers priorities and all.
