So does Old Dutch get wandering eyes, and slow-rolls the Woodcroft extension?

No, Holland. You know Woodcroft works here with your core. Do not change the coaching variable.

B's think they have a way better team than they actually do. 1 line team that can feast every year but gets shut down in the playoffs. Probably gonna just keep going through coaches until Bergeron/Marchand get old and they rebuild.

Hall chose poorly!

Or maybe this is happening because Hall chose them? Pressure is on for the Bruins to win a draft lottery while they have him under contract.

Hallsy's biggest test yet! Bruins probably can't finish worse than 10 or 11th last. So ~3% odds at #1 OA.

I think he can do it, I believe in him.

Pretty surprising they fired Cassidy. If you look at their team, most of their best players are 30 and over. Not sure whatelse the organization thinks they can get out of an aging team.

A lot of speculation that Pastrnak is looking to move on next summer too so I wonder if he gets dealt. Bergeron is UFA too - which seems surprising. Maybe that rebuild comes sooner rather than later?

Speculation is Pastrnak wants to be traded right now actually....

With Marchand headed to LTIR starting this next season (hips I believe?) and Bergeron not wanting to resign with such ineffective secondary scoring all season, it's evident the Bruins are leaning towards a rebuild.

Teams such as Philly and Boston always strike me as the franchises that constantly live in denial thinking they can hand out bad contracts to the wrong vets in hopes of these knee jerk quick fixes working miracles....only for them to unsurprisingly backfire each time.

Glad to see Hallsy play for yet another losing team so soon.

Pastrnak is choosing wisely.

Hope he doesn't end up in the West.

Well, unless it's here! Not that I would want to pay what they will likely want for just 1 year of Pasta, but talk about some firepower:

McDavid, Draisaitl, Kane, Hyman, RNH, and Pastrnak? Add in guys like JP, Yamamoto and McLeod or Holloway, and that would be an insane top 9.

He's only getting paid $6.67 - bargain for him. Thinking his next deal is North of $10M.

He talked a lot after his last contract how money was not important, just the opportunity to win and he was happy to take a cap hit in line with the old fellas on the Bruins. Maybe he learned a lesson about that for his next deal :) Winning is not guaranteed, but looking back and realizing you left 10M+ on the table is.

Ibet he could get 11+ if he went Gaudreau and had a perfectly timed career year.

A poster on LT's site (Vanisle Oil) posed the obvious question.. will Bruce Cassidy now look to hire the Sundance Kid as his assistant?
