Call me being optimistic but I am hoping that even though they didn't win game 5, the fact that when they try, the Oilers showed they can overwhelm the Kings, will give them some confidence. Game 5 was exactly how the Kings would want it I am sure. Dominated the first came out with the lead. They were able to limit the Oilers chances for 2 periods, frustrated the Oilers into taking bad penalties and were winning 3-1. When called upon, Quick was solid. The Kings were playing their system to a T and it was working, they were winning so I doubt they just abandoned it in the 3rd. Then the Oilers came out, TRIED and damn near won the game.
So if the Oilers try and play how they can, the Kings can't compete. So I hope they come in with confidence knowing if they turn it on from the start of the game, it's pretty unlikely the Kings can stay with them.
