This is from Reddit, so could be way off but 🤷🏻♂️
This was part of a series called "Pikkuleijonat: Tehtävä Helsingissä" which basically means "Junior Lions (Finnish National Team is called Leijonat or Lions): Mission in Helsinki". This was produced by the Finnish Broadcasting Company YLE as a sort of a hype up for last WJC's that they would also broadcast. The Mission, if you didn't understand was to bring home the gold medal, which they did.
In the series the coach Jukka Jalonen and a YLE reporter would "choose" different players who would need to do certain tasks and then report back to the rest of the team on how it went and what could be learned from it and be used on the ice. This improv class was one of those tasks, I'm not sure why exactly they choose Puljujärvi and what the improv class was supposed to teach them. Other missions included for example spending a night out in the forest alone.
