So, the commentators mentioned that the Yotes were slumping going into this game. The Oil get to help another team get back on track!!!

I'm so indifferent to this team right now that I didn't even know they were playing until 7:28. I was tired of watching Sex in the city so I checked my fantasy pool. Go Oilers, I guess?

Playin' Bad for Ekblad. That's been used already right?

Still jaded but we've got McDavid

Ha, Sportsnet west in Calgary is just showing black. Guess I'll find something more productive to do with my evening.

And it begins with some no-namer scoring for the Yotes. This team is garbage, pure.

Not sure a player in their 6th season with over 300 NHL games scoring their 15th goal of the year counts as a no-namer anymore.

I say "no-namer" because it doesn't require a superstar to score on this crap Oil team, and because the guy isn't exactly a megastar.

3-0 Yotes now. Where are the snipers when you need them?

Hendricks is lucky to still be in this game. That chicken-wing was pretty chicken-wingy.

I guess Coyotes would rather he stayed though, since he took a penalty leading to a Phoenix PPG.

The only reason I'm watching is I like hearing Klinkhammer. Perhaps next period I will listen to Jack Micheals say it.

I'm guessing the Coyotes score a couple more to make it 5-0. Then Ryan Jones will score and the goal horn will blow for 45 seconds like we are the North Korean Oilers or something.

North Korean is apt, since the Dear Leader is in charge still.

You were very close with that prediction. was 4-0. Jones pretty much scored the goal but went off Hendrick's foot when he wasn't really looking. And the horn went for 75 seconds.

18 seconds. Actually timed it and then pointed it out to the team on twitter. They won't care, because here come the Oilers.

Things that annoy me about this game:

- crappy sportsnet talking heads playing the first goal over and over and calling out Petry again and again. Meanwhile, Belov commits the sin in question over and over on the screen.
- Ryan Smyth with a gift from Mike Smith and a wide open net to put it in, takes the gigantic wind up for the slow moving slapshot wide of the goal.
- our management is still in place be I haven't heard anti-Lowe chants today.
- Phoenix Coyotes fans in Edmonton. Seriously how did that happen?

I think that's all for now. I don't care about the score.

Yup, and all the sheeple will think that it WAS Petry and talk about how awful he is.

So excited the NHL inked that massive deal with Sportsnet. Guys are clearly on top of the game. icon_rolleyes

Can we get someone to go and cheap shot Martin Hanzal? How is this guy still able to run around and make like hes Chara or Probert reborn. If Katz is already throwing millions of dollars for this garbage team might as well start taking back some flesh from guys named Kassian, Hanzal, Handzus and Regehr. The hell else can we cheer for?

Oilers have narrowed the score to 4-3. Someone other than Eakins must have invoked the fear of God into them. Messier must have went in and stared at them.
