Presume Jay Woodcroft's wife Jackie already knew her hubby was the NHL's most handsome coach
Actually, his win was due to his face being closet to matching the golden ratio of proportions:
Quote: | In a bit of off-season fun, gambling.com used the beauty measurement app Golden Ratio Face to help determine which NHL coaches are winning off the ice and which are sitting in the sin bin.
The “silver fox club” rounds out the top 5, all over 60 and scoring an average of 8.42 with Darryl Sutter from the Calgary Flames scoring an 8.9, Derek Lalonde from the Detroit Red Wings scoring an 8.68, John Hynes from the Nashville Predators scoring an 8.65 and Paul Maurice from the Florida Panthers scoring an 8.62.

Nineteen of the coaches are in their 50s and scored an average of 7.75, which falls just below the overall average of 7.95.
Head coaches in their 40s found their average score boosted by Woodcroft’s high ranking and came in with an average of 8.14.

Those cowgirls at the game were probably the only thing Flames' fans had to remember fondly about that night even if they were trying to touch Woodcroft through the glass.
