Actually, his win was due to his face being closet to matching the golden ratio of proportions:

Nineteen of the coaches are in their 50s and scored an average of 7.75, which falls just below the overall average of 7.95.
Head coaches in their 40s found their average score boosted by Woodcroft’s high ranking and came in with an average of 8.14.
