Holy !@$@!, I didn't even realize Hall was playing in this game until that penalty shot....

Next time, don't sleep through the overtime! Hall had two great chances that somehow stayed out of our net.

Also had a really nice assist. He didnt have a great game but a decent one. I still like it when I see him heading down the wing all hunched over.
didnt see a single drop pass to no one!

I'm still trying to figure out how Koskinen wound up on his ass before that 3rd goal. WTH was he thinking?

I thought there was a bit of goaltender interference there.

Tied up his pads as he was rolling over.

No, it's more like he came out too far and failed to anticipate the cross-ice pass.

Looked to me like Nurse hit his foot as he was turning and it caused him to fall. Oh well. Worked out in the end.

What great fortune on the review.

97 is going to get more respect calls from the officials this year too. You heard it here.

I noticed that too, the penalties on McD haven't seemed to be ignored as much as previous years.

Might be the league finally realizing that the bar for a penalty against McD had risen too ridiculously high due to the refs mandate to "manage the game" .. and call only a fraction of the penalties against McD.. the turning point moment coming when Giordano almost ended McD's career in the last game of the year ... suddenly NHL Corp. imagined life without their generational meal ticket.

I was more focused on how poorly the Oil were playing in OT than on anything Hall was doing...
