Rieder is 3 shots short of being in record territory for shots with 0 goals in a season. You can do it Rieder! 3 more muffins, and then you can take the rest of the year off.

Two shots now.

Did that last one count as a shot? He may be 1 back...

Aw man, some jerk king robbed him of the record tying shot right at the end there.

Must have been Bobby workin' the shot clock as part of his research after reading the artwork in Wayne's wine cellar, which reads "You miss 100% of the shots you don't take".

I mean, I remember an August long at the lake taking wine shots playing butt hole/janitor, whatever you call it. Shot at entire bottle between two of us... don’t remember much of the night after though.

I don't know what it is but I always get a bit more satisfaction when the Oilers beat the Kings and watch them score on Quick and Doughty.

Hell of a game for Nuge.

I though Chiasson was good again. He's got 21 goals and 36 pts. You really need to be careful with not giving him too much because I don't think he will produce that next year but I think you have to resign him. You can't be letting 20+ goal, flirting with 40 pts go.

Leon was a freaking beast!! Can they have his dad over more often. Has to be pretty cool for him to play like that and score your first regular season hat trick when your dad is in the house. I was really hoping he got his 100th point.

Kassian is on one hell of a heater and been playing great since January. I don't know if this who he is but I had him being a guy they needed to move, they can't now. That was one hell of a snipe on a goalie who's usually really good. I think he looks good on McDavid's wing. Maybe it's just a really huge heater but he makes plays, skates well, is physical and gets into the corners fast so he pressures guys and can create turnovers and shows some finish and can protect McDavid if needed. The guy was a 13th overall so he has skill. Kassian is everything they wanted Lucic to be. I am not sure if he can keep it going next year but maybe.

I really liked Gambardella's game. It's one game but he was fast, forechecked hard, created plays with his speed and aggression, only got 1 assist but helped out on several other goals. The Oilers are going to need guys like him to come up from the minors and fill in some bottom 6 spots. Maybe he can do it.

Rieder will never score. icon_lol

Kassian is just getting a chance to play with some quality players and it looks like him and McDavid genuinely like each other so it works well. He does have some skill offensively and is good defensively too. Also can intimidate the other teams players who try to take liberties on Conner. He's doing a good job and if Conner's happy we're all happy. You have to keep him.

I just wonder if Kassian could be like Maroon. Maroon found a lot of success with McDavid. All Maroon did was get the puck to McDavid as fast as he could, did some of the dirty work in the corners, brought some size to the wing, went to the net, found open spots and didn't overhand the puck, just took a pass and put it towards the goal. Kassian right now seems to be doing all of that plus he's a way faster skater.

Probably wishful thinking on my part but maybe. Maroon came to the Oilers and in 16 games put up 8 goals, 14 pts, then followed it up with 27 the next year. Anything is possible.
