If the Oilers had a good D unit, your ass wouldn’t clench so tight. And as I write this, the Canes score; #$$$ me...

I tell you what they are making other teams commentators sound like world beaters.

I've been stuck with the two Florida commentators and then these jokers today. Just terrible the last three games. It takes a lot for me to want to actually listen to Remenda and Geno...

While he is far from perfect your constant criticism of Klefbom is confusing to me. He has been far and away our best defenceman this season. I would go as far to say he is our first, legit, top pairing player in a very long time.
He logs high minutes, against top competition, and holds his own on most nights. Leaving the zone is the most calm, best passer and best skater back there. In the other end he is a pretty big part of the PP.
Outside of physical/toughness traits he the teams best D-man in every aspect of the game. I am not saying he is a top ten guy in the league or Norris candidate but he is damn good and counted on to do a LOT for the team. Our d group is likely middle of the pack this year, take him out and they are likely bottom 5.

My criticism is consistent because his brain farts are consistent.

I recall watching the Oakland Raiders in a baseball stadium.
I wish I would have just continued partying in the parking lot. 😆
|
I never got to see a game there. TBH I kinda wish I had just to see the black hole up close
|
Raiders vs 49’ers.
49’ers won. It was a it ugly outside and on the BART back to San Francisco. Let’s just say we were happy we were not wearing anything red.

Klefbom has roughly 50 chances a game to make a mistake, he makes very few/game. I would guess he has a 95% success rate on making good decisions.
His importance to this team cant be overstated.
Do you think there is a better defenceman on the team? If so who and why?

Nurse rarely gets beat because of a bad pinch or misses a guy getting behind him, that's Klefbom's biggest problem, and just needs basic awareness.

Good on Drai to set up the winner after he should have drawn the hooking call.

29 was totally gassed...
15 was fresh off the bench.
Refs did everything to get the CANES that win.
The good guys won.

Smith with some outstanding saves keeps us in the game in OT before Drai does what he does best and set's Archi for the winner. After the way the OT was going this feels almost as good as Fernando's OT winner against this lot.
