This guy is so ridiculously well spoken. He's right about the McLellan tactic of just shooting from anywhere. Even though the Kings ran up the shot clock we won the high danger chances battle 20 to 10 at 5v5. I forget, did Todd always coach like Eakins?

The other thing I like here is his concept that momentum doesn't carry over. I think that's an important thing for players to remember. Dominating them for two games doesn't matter at all if we don't win two more games against them here, so as much fun as these two games have been, we need to keep doing it.
"We're going to celebrate for 15 minutes, then refocus." "The score doesn't matter..." "We have to get to four." Those are all good messages.
I think we can - the Oilers are the better team, and Woodcroft is the better coach.
I saw a video with Mike Smith and Colby Armstrong this morning. Smith said that Woodcroft is very detailed, and in the room they know exactly what happened for every major breakdown. McLellan wanted to break it down for the media instead, but while Woodcroft is apparently drilling in to these things in the video room, he is not airing it in the media after each game. He still refuses to take the bait when they're asking about Mike Smith's gaffe in game one. Players respect when their coach has their back.
Okay - now on to game four.

Bingo...memory that stands out for me would be the Bruins absolutely dominating the Blues in 3 of their wins with 2 being "blowouts" yet St Louis still captured the series in 7. Expect a much more desperate effort from the Kings in Game 4.
