After initial success and promise, the bottom 6 is contributing less than hoped, Foegle still gets out there, D. Ryan has tailed off, Turris not getting it done, Sceviour just OK, Perlini too inconsistent, McLeod still too soft on the puck, Benson missing a gear, Kassian and Shore are out but just OK prior to injuries.
Bottom 6 is bigger/faster/better than last year, but still a lot of work required.

The bottom 6 got very little ice time while Tippett was banking points at the start of the season. Good plan to get ahead in the standings but the supporting guys on the team need to play in order to be on their game. Now, when we need to give McDrai a breather, the bottom 6 aren't in gear yet. Still, I'd rather be 10-3 with some work to be done than 9-9-1 and slumping like a few years back.
