This must be a very good deal, cause it’s been 24 hours and no has commented on it at all lol

I think that speaks to the fact that most of us didn’t object to getting the player, only the acquisition cost. I think 2.75 million is a good price for a second line player and an upper end price for a 3rd liner. Foegele might be either in Edmonton.


Also, this summer has been such a disappointment, there's no point quibbling about every little thing. There's so much more tragic moves being made.

The fact is, he made $2.15MM last year, so he was bound to get a raise, especially given that the team felt strongly enough about him to trade a young right-shot defenceman for him. It is notable that we're $750K worse off on the cap hit side of that trade this year - although I expect that Bear will play well and make more than Foegele starting next year.
