Have to say that I was happy with the way Smith played, and I sensed it gave the team some confidence in getting some regular stops, just the puck handling alone helped the D set up, putting the brakes on the opposition fore check, taking off some pressure on the D, and were able to get the puck out a lot cleaner, more often. One game, but a positive sign.

Smith made some nice stops but it made me nervous how he parked in Gretzky's office behind the net toward the end of the game and nearly gave it away.

You can't always get what you want, but if you try sometimes, you just might find, you can get a lottery pick.
