The Oilers are one of the highest scoring teams in the league, and they're a game below .500 on the season because we can't keep pucks out of the net.

That's good enough to win 2, lose 5, and have 5 toss ups. It's not good enough and entirely predictable.

Not like we deserve much better goaltending. Obviously this org has zero confidence in their ability to scout and trade for a goalie. Chia was the last guy that attempted this. Our only move is trying to sign a big name in the off-season. That'll never get you a truly elite goaltender. All the goalies that steal the show in the playoffs were drafted and developed by the team that brings them in at the right time.

Trading has been a successful route for the Oilers in the past too - Ranford, Joseph, Salo, Roloson all came in trades. You just have to be willing to give up something to make it happen.
