I was worried that Larsson wouldn't get his goal against but he dug deep, totally nutted up and did it with less than a minute to go by letting Stutzel get behind him. Thatta boy!!!

I've been pretty critical of Larsson this year, but he can't really be faulted on that goal last night. That was a bad line change by the previous pairing and he was left trying to catch up because of it. He takes the minus and he's visible in the highlight, but it took some effort for him to even get in the frame.

I was being a little tongue in cheek with that comment and don't think Larsson was totally at fault but it is tiring to see #6 trailing a guy or not turned the right way, looking lost or standing there watching an opposing player firing a puck in over and over again. Whether it's 5 on 5 or on the PK, we've seen him in the picture as someone scores a hell of a lot and it doesn't seem to matter if it's 1st line guys or 4th line guys.
I fully expected him to get beat the odd time just because skating isn't his strong suit but I didn't expect him to get beat as often as he does and I definitely did not expect him to get beat as often and look totally out of place as much as has been around the net. When I think of him, I think of a hard nosed guy who won't win a foot race very often but good luck to any player in the goal area because he's going to make you pay and life miserable and hard to score. Yet this year, it's the complete opposite.
For me, it's a toss up as to who I feel has been the biggest disappointment. It's been him or Turris.
