Schedule makers must be mad geniuses. We just happen to play 2 teams 2 points behind us next.
Lose those games and just like that, we're in huge trouble. Hope they can find a way.

I know I say it every game day, but they truly are getting into must win territory.

They only need 9 wins, so this can't be a must win, that said, it would really help chip away.
If they do lose, it would be very demotivating.
I hope/think this is how the next few games play out:
Edmonton Oilers
- Seven games against Central or Eastern contenders (DAL(L), CBJ(W), NYI(W), PHI(W), WSH(L), TBL(L), COL(W))
- Five games against minnows (CHI(L), OTT(W), SJS(L), ANA (2)(W,L))
- Critical games - WPG (2)(W,W), NSH (2)(L,W), VGK (2)(L,L), CGY(W)
I think they can end the season with 94 points, which is basically a playoff guarantee.
I fear Anaheim, San Jose, Chicago.
Now that I think on it, tonight's game could very well be the most crucial of the year.
