Konovalov's odds of making the NHL aren't good based on his height, only 1 goalie in the NHL that's 5'-11" with 20 games played or more, out of 54, and that's Halak. Only 7 goalies that are 6'-0", next 48 goalies are all over 6'-0".. trend is definitely tall goalies...
Interesting, I remember during the draft Green came out and said that Kononvalov was actually taller than they thought he was, stats at the time had him at 5'-11", so I figured he must be at least 6'-0".. but his current KHL stats say his height is still 5'-11", so Green either can't read a tape measure, or covert cm to inches.
just checking out Lokomotive website.. check out Pasquale, he's 6'-3" and same or better save % as Konovalov.. in more games.. he's 30 .. won Calder Cup.
