Maybe "activate" isn't what I think it means. Also, I thought Sekera already was on the roster when he began his Rehab assignment.
Anyways, hope he stays healthy for the rest of the NHL season, and is able to play in his homeland in May for the IIHF World championship.

Pretty sure he was on the non-active see if he's physically able to play assignment. They never did use the conditioning assignment - seems mgt actually did the right thing here in stretching out the last stages of his rehab so he didn't go 0-60 in returning to the NHL... whodathunkit?
