Sucks when our rare good games happen against a goalie playing well. Only solution is to keep pushing and getting chances. Guess that's the dif between good and bad teams, good ones keep rolling and can deal with hitting a hot goalie now and then and losing when they may have deserved a win.

He's 6-0-0 against the Oilers. Oilers make him hot...or at least make him look hot.

Looking at the shot quality. Ended up with the oilers getting 13 high danger chances vs 12 for the canes. So, shot clock definitely misleading. Probably lots of easy junk being tossed by us (admittedly I only watched 5-6 minutes of the actual game, which is around my average lately).
So, this "good effort" only gave us a ~50/50 shot at a win, and it went the other way. Just a mediocre to poor team doing mediocre to poor stuff.
