Nick Ellis will carry the load in Bakersfield. I'd guess Shane Starrett likely is backing him up, though it could be a more experience vet.

....the Oilers sold their interest in the Admirals last year...sounds like it wasn't a very good relationship between the Admirals and Oilers this past season...

...probably would make sense to have the ECHL affiliate closer to Bakersfield...the previous Nashville ECHL affiliate was in Cincinnatti, but I believe the arena in Concinnatti is being repurposed to no longer support hockey
