Overall they are playing good. Shame they didn’t come out ahead that period. I’m a bit freaked out about that now. They need to continue the chaos around the Vegas net. Beat them at their own game.

We don't get many shots where we force Hill to move. Lots of straight on when he is set and ready. Vegas is good at crashing their net and limiting anything across the slot. And of course they are looking for turnovers and our screw ups all night long. We just don't handle this kind of game very well. We really want to show Vegas we can casually outskill them, but not working.

I like that 2nd line a lot better with Ryan McLeod over Evander Kane. Although paradoxically I also like the 3rd line better with McLeod there too.

This was always going to be a game of mistakes. Edmonton just made a couple od bad ones (Drai and Ceci) on the go ahead goal.

Bleh. Nice chances, but direct into the pad. Eve raised a bit so even if Hill had his pad off the ice, he still saves it. Vegas picks top corner on one of their few chances. Just frustrating.

We miss the net on our best chances. We shoot directly into Hill on the rest. Last year Drai has one or two goals into a wide open net tonight. But we get wide flubs this year

Looking like a guy that isn't gonna find consistent offense in his game until his mid-20's. And that might just be a ~30 point player deal.
Definitely would use him to trade for a good player if possible.
