Shutout, penalty shot save, ...still not a fan of 29/97 playing together but G A G and A A A

...this time, it's for real (isn't it?).

I felt like they were given a game to play together to help them get some of their mojo on the PP back. With less time together this year maybe that is one reason they have been slightly off.

Oilers win

Lames lay a massive turd in the middle of the toilet bowl arena.

Good night for hockey!

Agree with you all. Wasn’t the prettiest game.

We will see what we are made of after the all star break.

Teams like Vegas, bruins twice, LA twice, Detroit. Nasty tough games against playoff caliber teams. Cant keep doing these slow starts in the first period

Some streak data from Pierre Lebrun:

Quote:

Oilers' 15-game win streak also matches their franchise-record undefeated streak of 15 games which they set in 1984-85 (12-0-3). No such thing as undefeated streaks since 2005 when tie games disappeared with the shootout forcing a result.
NHL record undefeated streak is 35 games (25-0-10) by the 1979-80 Flyers.
NHL record winning streak belongs to the 1992-93 Penguins at 17.

Now this Oilers team has accomplished a Gretzky team feat!

Already did when Skinner beat Fuhr's 10-win streak ;)

Vegas being the potential game to match the 17 game record is quite the coincidence.
