Damn. Though 6 scored was threshold to win. Looks like it's closer to infinity

If only there had been a time when our GM could have acquired another goaltender who was less terrible...

...or maybe realized that he didn't have to look elsewhere for a replacement to Smith and used that money to sign a good D-man.

With Jack in net? More like whoever gives up less than 15 wins....

Someone should teach Bouchard about lateral movement on the blue line. Has the guy ever changed the angle?

If you're talking about Ceci, it's likely more important he learns how to make an outlet pass that isn't immediately intercepted and turned back into a 3-on-2.

In the last 5 minutes, the Jet have been doing their best to help the Oil tie the game up with some horrible outlet passes.

Good news is, if we manage to win we can talk about Campbell making the "key saves" to earn the W

Ack, Nuge waited a bit too long to make that pass- Hyman had nothing to shoot at by the time it got to him.... icon_dead

It's all about not letting in the seventh, right? So this is really on the empty net, not Campbell...

We always needed a second goalie. No team goes entirely with one netminder, and we gambled a FIVE YEAR contract on a guy who is just an absolute mess. He's another reaction goalie too - like Smith. Doesn't ever look sound in the net, just lurches around which leads to saves that look spectacular, but also lots of goals against.

Not sure what the Oilers did for scouting here, but good lord. To be fair - if he was at the level he was the last couple years, we're okay, but he's a basketcase and can't stop anything for long stretches at a time. We clearly made the wrong bet.
