I can’t be the only one who thinks betting the over (6.5 total goals) is like printing free money tonight can I?

So you think the Leafs will score 7?

Now, now, we’re bound to get 1.

you can book a Draisaitl goal tonight. I figure the rest of the squad is good for at least one more besides that.

You can't always get what you want, but if you try sometimes, you just might find, you can get a lottery pick.

Hope you didn't bet the house! Yesterday I was in full agreement with your statement, but this is why I don't dabble in sports gambling!

1 Cup

My take...

Tippett is being outcoached again...

His move to start Smith over Koski in a short series was a fireable offense...
The team has been 2-7 since moving Nuge away from 29 and 56...

The PP that went -2 vs the HABS has been a disgrace... and it looks like it might not all be on the players. Every setup vs the HABS had 97 setting up on the LEFT side. This is crazy. It totally negates the possible one-timer from the RIGHT handed shot of Barrie. AND it limits the effectiveness of 97 when he tries to move from left to right...

So far, again, the bottom 6 is giving the team nothing... the obvious solution is to play MCD more. And not just in the 3rd period when the game is out of reach. Double shift 97 at the end of periods. And any other offensive zone faceoff.

Put NUGE back with 29, 56. At least you will have one line doing something.
Ryan McLeod is a scorer with speed. I guess that's something we don't need in the bottom 6. Tippett seems happy with what he's had down there since he's been coaching.
Evan Bouchard is a D who has shown the ability to get the puck on net from the point. Again, I guess that isn't a need right now. That's a failure to identify and use talent by the coach.

There is so much that Tippett could be/should be doing...

...this time, it's for real (isn't it?).
