The good lord giveth and the good lord taketh away ! Just got here and on the shelf already. Looks like Russel is close to coming back so that should help some, of the three new guys he would probably be missed the least but it's still a kick in the cones. Believe it or not there are other teams with more injury problems than the Oilers. ( Columbus for one and also Winnipeg )

Edmonton Oilers defenceman Mike Green will be out of action for three to four weeks with a sprained MCL.
He played 2 more shifts I think after that knee on knee collision. sigh.
And I guess he has to wonder if the Oilers doctor came to the conclusion it's a sprain while looking at an MRI that was just a mess of inflammation and actually showing nothing. Might want to get a 2nd opinion.
