If the team can emulate Drew Remenda’s energy when talking about Jumbo Joe, they should be just fine tonight.

I can’t remember the last time I saw a throwing the stick penalty. Was a Canuck awarded a short handed goal ~5 years ago for that? Fun stuff. Maybe we can discuss intangibles and hockey smarts in the nurse contract thread now.

Top pairing, and they just let that guy get the free stick onto the the point shot for the goal, Larsson in particular being the goat. Sigh.

Don't say it too loud or the Oil might hear and decide that they can get away with another night of crapping the bed.

McD might need some help in this one. Can't score on the bench waiting for a penalty to be killed.

Thats ok. McDavid took the last game off - he should be ready to go. Star players need to be star players. Crosby did it for years and continues to do it. My biggest criticism of McDavid is that he do not elevate other's games the way Crosby does. Crosby finds a way to make his teammates better - I am not so sure McDavid can.

I think your biggest criticism of McDavid is more on the “others” than it is on 97.

What a GD joke, Oilers outworked by a team with zero 1st or 2nd line centers.

Where were you when Maxim Letunov scored his first NHL goal?

I'm so envious of the answer people that paid money to see this game live are able to give from that question in the years to come.

Where were you when Maxim Letunov scored his first NHL goal?

I'm so envious of the answer people that paid money to see this game live are able to give from that question in the years to come.

You can’t stop Max Letunov you can only hope to contain him.

This is fine.
