That was just horrible play by Bear at the end, likely because he was completely gassed....

5/8 points. We deserved 1 at most. It’s like the blew their load in Nashville. Only good part about the last 4 games is Koskinen. Honorable mention to Yamomoto.

Hope they get over whatever it is that is ailing them real quick.

More like because he was completely held. The reffing in this game was pathetic. So sick of NHL game management for US markets.

Absolutely owned us in overtime, Koski with 45 saves. Time for a team meeting! They can't keep playing like this and expect to stay in a playoff hunt. Luck and great goaltending got us a point.I usually don't harp about the refereeing but it looked blatantly one sided in this one, lots of clutch and grab and interference that didn't get called on Vegas. Vegas flat out out played them for most of the game though.

Hate Vegas now. Super annoying team to play against. I miss run and gun happy time Vegas hockey. Hope they get knocked out in the 1st round.

How come we're the only team that doesn't do the cheat in OT where a guy comes on the ice at the far end of the bench when a guy comes on at the other end? Bear probably could have changed after his missed chance. Think Drai had a chance to change too and, as usual, passed it up.

Do the players feel like they owe the goalie one by now?

I think Bear had just come on, though I agree. It’s just too bad he didn’t Bear-y it. Then too bad he couldn’t get that puck passed Munchinsnow

The Oilers didn’t do anything to draw a penalty in the first... 34 minutes of the game, really. But, I have a hard time believing they didn’t draw a penalty when they finally got going late in the 2nd and then with the way both teams played in the 3rd.

Refs let a lot of hooking and holding and tripping go. Of course we instantly get a penalty instantly as soon as we got a 2-1 lead. Great PK though.

This was pretty close to a playoff style reffed game.

Oilers play like they did tonight in a playoff game, it’ll be over before we can say Milan Lucic.

So Gene can still be just outside the locker room to do interviews? Interesting.

Tipp’s post game comment;

This is as disconnected as we have played in a long time. We will have a practice tomorrow for the first time in awhile and work on some things, but we can’t think we are a good team playing like that.

I used to get excited for OT games as they were a near-guaranteed win.
The only thing that seems guaranteed now is that Draisaitl will take a 2-3 min shift, ignoring multiple chances to change, then have no gas left in the tank to play D, which leads to an odd man rush against and more often than not the game winner.

Love the guy, but man does he need to make those line changes when the opportunity arises.

Thanks Kostco for stealing a point yet again where we had no business doing so.

Tough game. Oilers didn't look that great. I do wonder if other guys are sick. McD has been sick for supposedly awhile. If McD is so sick he can't play, how can others not be under the weather considering they are in the same room as him, use the same facilities, on the same plane, etc.

Getting outshot like that is not great but when I was able to watch the game, it sure looked like Vegas just shoots to shoot. Not necessarily a bad thing to shoot when you can.

The positives I take from this little stretch. Koskinen is clearly on his game which is great. They aren't playing well yet getting wins and points. Realistically can Vegas play much better? I doubt it yet they had to go to OT to beat the Oilers.
