I think it was the DFO Rundown podcast that they were talking with a goalie coach, but they had mentioned Smith is at his best when he doesn’t belly flop. It’s kinda obvious, but it’s a small change in his game that he seems to slip away from very easily.
You can see he’s making adjustments in game to fix it, but when he scrambles that is his natural default.
