I just had a feeling tonight. It felt like we were on the brink for much of the second period, and Quick at this stage isn't what he was. Once the illusion of invincibility was cracked, then the flood could begin.
Honestly the point at which I thought we should win tonight was the short-handed two-on-one for the Rangers where Skinner actually made the save. That kind of one-timer is one he's been beaten on all year, so I kind of felt when he got to that that we'd be in a good place.
We did make it a little closer than I'd like to see...no shots with about 5 minutes of empty net at the other side is sub-optimal, but we got the two points and that's what matters.

Wrap it up. Great third period. I’m sure we all worried Quick had this one locked down after the second period power play performance.
Props to Skinner again for keeping them into it during some Grade A chances early on.
