It's possible that Big Vinny may not be a real NHL defenceman.

He isn't. But he's the best WE got. drink

I’ve no doubt Vinny is giving us everything he’s got. But his skating is limited. And him not being good enough is a management problem as the GM can’t get a player better than him on the roster to push him out of the top 6/7.

If we ever punish Bouch properly and sit him out a game we could have a chance to know for sure!

Think I’m done for a while. This is seriously not fun to dwell on all the long term problems that are not improving. And I’m not paid to fix the team.

I like watching hockey so I'm still watching every game. I am years into not having much emotional reaction. Outside of the playoffs or late in a close game it's pretty rare that a goal (for or against) elicits much reaction from me.
It is the same reason I don't complain about reffing, is what it is and I have come to expect disappointment,

Once again I am enjoying some of the insight from Mayers.

Oh, big surprise. 71 doesn't score.

I feel like if McLeod went through the middle, reporters would be around his stall after the game needing him to go through the moment.

I think it goes without saying, they really need to make sure they lock down Dustin Schwartz. 5 year deal at double the dollars, at least!

60 games Playoff Bobrovsky couldn’t help this organization right now.

I wonder if we start trying to hire McDavid's dad or brother into management next.

OHL teammate - check
Player Agent into the organization - check
Junior coach - check

Does he have any relatives that can coach defence?

Dave Gagner (as GM for when Holland retires end of season) from the Orr hockey group is out there with "connections" with the team (Jackson / Sam), and McDavid (former agency).

I would still love to see Jacques Lemaire coach our team. Just full commitment to a trap might be the only thing this team could do.
