If the goal of the team especially McD and Leon is to win the cup, while you don't lose the cup in the first week, you set a tone of how the season is going to go. Division game. The Canucks should be a lower opponent than you. Play sound hockey, goalies do your job and stop the puck. Win the game.

Also question for anyone who’s ever went but tomorrow at wem for the McDavid and leon signings from 6-8. What time would one actually have to get there in order to get a jersey signed for my son by Leon? I heard some comment they were lining up at 6am like 12 hours before hand which is insane to me. Obviously have to before but I’m 2.5 hours away and would love to get his jersey signed for him.

Yes, which is why I was going with the Draisaitl line as that is kind of a let down but I get it. So if someone was there at like noon-1pm that would be too late?

Checked with my buddy that works for WEM, line is 100 people deep right now. Apparently there's no holding spots or leaving the line.

Let Garland just walk around you to get a puck wide open right in front of your goalie.
Let Boeser snipe a perfect top corner shot with zero pressure on him.
This team is amazing at this, for real. Last year I don't think at any point we had both goalies playing well. One guy starts to play good, we slowly break them down. Other guy comes in, break him down. Back and forth all season until we get to playoffs and we stick with one guy to get him fully into the Dubnyk 2012 zone.
