Happy cold and Musty Tuesday!

Vinny D has been recalled on an emergency basis. So I guess that’s good. Lol.

I'm thinking the boys can take this game to the bank, it's just that easy.

Skirts caught the wind and were exposed.

Fully expect an Oilers win tonight tho, in all seriousness.

For the record that's not the wind blowing up me skirt. Well it sorta is. You see the Kilt was only for day to day wear. For battle we would don a full length ball gown covered in sequins.

Maybe your little one can play D better than most of the current Oil blueliner corps. Get her some skates and a stick. I'm only half-joking.

We're only in trouble if they sit their starter...

Their starter is a local. That's the double effective reverse uno ultra anti-Oiler card.

Ah we have fun here. But seriously, Philadelphia is both a hard city to spell and a must win game. The Oilers can't afford to politely refuse taking full points in 5 straight games.

The Oilers are getting completely boned by the schedule maker this week. Boston has to make one of their two annual trips to pacific time this week. That starts tonight with a late game in Seattle. The Oilers, who play Boston at home 6 days from now have to make a trip out east and back during the Bruins road trip. A two game eastern trip is absolutely outrageous. The Flames, who get Boston on the second half of the Alberta back to back, get to make a 3 game southwestern road swing while the Bruins are on this road trip.

I'd have to add another .. if Jack ever says during the SN broadcast.. "Louie, Player-X is in a 30+ game scoring slump.." its automatic slump-buster goal for Player-X.. I cringe every time he says it.. its like openly challenging Fate.

Roster update..

Kane is out (likely ribs), and might be out all week..
Chaulk said Holloway will be out minimum 2 weeks.. but nothing "serious" .. tifwiw.
Kostin still out.. sick.
Captain Seaweed (Desharnais) is back in. Apparently had strep throat.. couldn't eat for 2 days.. "like swallowing razor blades"
