Solidly 2nd in division. 5 points out of conference lead. 10 straight games against bottomfeeders helps. Somebody told me in November that the brutal schedule had no bearing on where they were in the standings.

Any game where your kill goes +1 is a good one. 2 shorties against a team with a good PP.

Pretty entertaining game for something that started so early.

That play by McDavid on the forecheck on to McLeod on the 1st shorty was sight to behold.

Kudos to Kulak for a good game with a couple big primary assists. Also Desharnais for some excellent defending. Leon got to play with Connor and found some legs and better play.

Might have liked Soupy to have on of those 2 aside from the skate deflection, but that huge stop on the breakway was needed, and some big stops on tight chances. Early season Campbell, and this game might have been lost or a Skinner appearance.

Hopefully Kostin isn't out for a lengthy period, looked like a shoulder which would really affect his game, hopefully he's got some Gumby there like that earlier leg/groin.

Any word on Kostin? Initially thought it was shoulder.. some talking wrist or ribs..
Big loss if he's out.. changes the character of the team by quite a bit.

McDAVID! Oh YEAH Baby!!
Tic-Tac-Tao!
Keep on Rockin' in the Free World
P. Chiarelli math.. T. Hall = A. Larsson, Yak= bag o'pucks (OK he got one right...) K. Russell = $4.1 M+NMC, G. Reinhart= M. Barzal + A. Beauvillier, J. Eberle = R. Spooner,

Definitely looked shoulder the way he cradled his arm. Or maybe collarbone.

Illegitimi non carborundum.

Hope Kostin is ok on our side and Forsberg for the Sens.

Seemed like more of a freak incident with a Sens player pushing Hyman onto Forsberg's leg which usually doesn't result in anything but somehow did so this time.
