Good first period. Loving Kostin.
Watched Seattle play and Schaeffer was noticeable until he ran into his teammate in the second period. He got up on his own, but never returned to the game. Looked like a knee buckle.
Iginla’s kid looks unreal for a 16 year old.

Low event game for the team defensively so far. They're defending their blue line,
Oilers working hard and drawing penalties, Special teams are having a night. Lots of takeaways and 3 giveaways through 2.
SJ still has a couple players that acted like the cock of the block when they used to whup the Oilers. So nice to see the likes of Couture be a total, and I mean a total non factor.
I listened to a ched interview of Drew Remenda later night on the way home from a job, he says that SJ management figures they're not in a rebuild. If it's a retool, they have a older Snap On and 2 or 3 Mastercrafts in the box, and the rest are either unbranded or say 'China' on them. They don't normally get blown out

It just frustrates players needlessly. ...resulting in the slash from 55. And it could have been worse... and for what? Holloway is fighting to show he deserves more minutes on this team. Refs shouldn't be handing out orange slices to SJ because they are having a crap game/season. Call the rules consistently.
