After that good Dallas performance it would really be nice to see us stomp the Canucks. Big test to see how quickly this team can just be satisfied with themselves and start taking things for granted again.

Canucks with a huge comeback win last night then had to travel. Hopefully they are physically and emotionally drained for tonights game.

The Canucks played last night. Got in late. They are missing their starter. They can score and have a decent PP but their defense isn't very good and their PK is dead last in the league. This is a game the Oilers have to win.
Interesting that they healthy scratched Bear last night.

I read this and I'm like, hmm, is Bear a Canuck or Kraken, so had to google. I very much missed the trade back on October 28. If either guy works out, this deal is a steal for the Canucks. https://www.sportsnet.ca/nhl/article/canucks-acquire-defence man-ethan-bear-from-hurricanes/
The Vancouver Canucks have traded for defenceman Ethan Bear from the Carolina Hurricanes. Carolina will also send minor league forward Lane Pederson in exchange for a 2023 fifth-round draft pick while also retaining $400,000 of Bear's salary in the deal.

Either way, sounds like the Canucks D is really thin and they should be tired with their starting goaltender still out injured to boot. Will the Oilers yet again play down to the competition?

Interesting. Canucks honestly are not a bad team this year. They have played some very good games at times against some tough competition. They remind me of the oilers minus the talent. They seem to play to their competitions level at the best of time though. They can lose to anybody but they can also beat a lot of the top teams. This should be a good game with hopefully the oilers coming out on top.

I don't pay a ton of attention to the Canucks but I thought I read Bear was playing alright for them so when I saw that on twitter, I was surprised.
