Some things just feel normal.
After the second goal I calmly said "thats not good". My wife replied with surprise at how calm I was and I had to explain just how expected some things are. 15 years of marriage, she should know better.

Kane's hit was already bordering on late. Nurse just kicked it up to another level with a second hit on the same guy, pretty clearly looking for some payback.

He wanted revenge for a hit on Pulju, I get that. Is he a vet or not though? You have all night to try to catch the guy. You just make the guy feel like a champ for getting you to take a penalty. Nurse ever gonna learn the game within the game stuff? He doesn't have a reputation at all yet of a guy other teams fear. More of a guy you can sucker into doing dumb things.

If true I will 100% backtrack. I thought it came down across his knee/leg and pushed him off balance for the tripping penalty.
I am guessing there will be discussion on penalties, for good or bad, between periods. Maybe I will see then.

Friedman giving the old Canucks "can't give the Oilers power plays or they'll make them pay" routine.. then I look at the score sheet and its 6 Oiler penalties to 2 for Canucks .. seems like Canucks/Kelly are doing pretty well in that exchange.. I smell 3 more Canuck power plays in the 3rd.
Canucks should have at least 2 more penalties, especially sticks in hands of LD, McD.
