I'm excited, the team should be better at all areas that I thought were weaknesses.
Having a couple young guys make the team instead of washed up, or never was, vets is nice as well.
Kane for a full season.
Campbell should be an upgrade.
Depth on the wings
Bouch takes a step forward.
McLeod getting better as well.
Holloway and Broberg should contribute.
Lots to like but most important for me. NO MORE RUSSELL STARFISH!!!

I'd rather they start out on the road.. Vancouver comes in as the underdog, Oilers might get caught up playing to the home crowd.. get the yips.. especially the D..

The #Oilers have recalled forward Devin Shore from the @Condors & loaned defenceman Philp Broberg to Bakersfield.
Did we have to send him down to be able to bring up Shore? Yikes. Someone kinda useless with a decent cap hit needs to get on LTIR ASAP!

This season will depend on a lot of things, but the one's I'll be focusing on are on defense.
Kulak and Ceci are solid.. I have no worries about those two..
D. Nurse
Has been mediocre in exhibition games so far, needs to focus on defense, don't force offense (it gets him in trouble), reduce his mistakes from last year, has to be a true #1 NHL D man.. need a dependable shutdown man.
Bouchard needs to bring his game up this year from last, add more offense, and get more efficient on the PP, taking over from Barrie, which he hasn't been able to yet.
As goes Bouchard and Nurse, goes the Oilers.
Murray is an unknown.. he's been Ok in exhibition, steady and mistake free.. a #6 on my scale.. he could surprise.. just can't devolve to an AHL'er.
Barrie.. expect the same performance as last year.. so far through exhibition looks similar to last year .
