Our D core leaves A LOT to be desired. Nurse is just absolutely awful sometimes, and considering the role he has on the team... it's a glaring weakness. We have a guy with the build of Hedman, but the brains of a squirrel.
Plus, he plays with little to no heart.

BINGO.
He does not think the game. He reacts to it. Like a forward.
He got away with it in Jr. because he had elite skating and it never burned him.. now the player s can skate as good or better than him.. but he still thinks like he's in Jr.
For the supposed strong guy on our defense he doesn't seem to ever grease guys off the puck very often, usually stick checks.. needs some D. Manson Defenceman Academy courses.
Tell him he is going to get paid more than Makar at 9.25M, but he isn't Makar, he needs to play defence first and only.
