Steam coming out of the collective heads of Oilfans worldwide?

Also 4-1, fire the coach.

Whole team let Smith down. Bad start by the whole team. Bad penalties. Chasing the game after bad start by the whole team and a bad penalty, but Smith kept us in it until another bad penalty.

Thank you for adding in that, “chasing the game” comment. Very important.

And the wags will spout that Smith played well after the first 2 goals. How many times has Koskinen looked solid after crapping the bed early? Every second start? Funny it rarely gets added to the broadcast or the Morning Mandates all season.

Sweet feed by Bouchard to the Hawks player alone in the slot.

He really is the next coming of Poti/Gilbert/Schultz.

According to the talking heads the stellar goalie coach had input into Smith starting. Lord help this team.

Saw media earlier this season suggesting we should get a guy that Schwartz works with in the summer. Carter Hart or Jarry. Hart probably can be had.

Would be very oilers to double down on a goalie coach that has been around for endless goalie regressions.

Has anyone told the current goalie coach to tell Koskinen that he is weak glove side high?
Could be a starting point to redemption, but you gotta start with some facts.
Maybe practice glove side high saves?
Sorry, crazy talk....

Not to give him a pass, but is it possible that this is the Schwartz's task sheet from Tippett:

1) Get Smith going

the end. Maybe it's been that for years now :)

Also recently heard some defending of Schwartz in media. Gregor stands out. Talking about how the coaches job is more about researching opposition and the shootout, etc... Trying to minimize how accountable Schwartz should be for goalies constantly regressing here. It's so weird how this guy keeps on surviving.
