If we lose this one can we fire everyone?

You're talking about a team that just won 4 in a row a week ago. And was within 1 period of winning the Stanley Cup in the cap era.

You're right. These guys have definitely earned a shot to prove they can build a winner here. Let's revisit this in a few years.

If it involves Nicholson, I vote YES.

If Nicholson remains, Hard NO. He would go ask Brad Treliving his thoughts on how he should structure his new staff.......then brag to the lapdog media how proactive he's behaving. And they would defend him.

I didn't think Foegele and Kassian had a very good game against Ottawa. JP needs to get a goal as he's been extremely cold for a while now.

I would have considered Skinner just because I thought Koskinen was lousy on the first goal and then somehow a 6'7 goalie made himself look like he was 5 ft tall on the winner but he was good in the middle parts of the game.

Ovie in covid protocol so a plus for the oilers. I really hate that we haven't made a move in the crease.

Too close to the all star game to play, but not so far that he can't go to Vegas and enjoy the city. OV is smart.

Pretty much a no-brainer that he's going to find a way not to play at the All-Star game by now. Nice thing with Covid protocol is that he only misses this one game, instead of the two he's usually suspended for.

Holland doesn't really like to do mid-season trades. He works for about 10 days around the trade deadline, and then from the draft until mid July. It is pretty unreasonable to ask him to make any decisions at any other point in the year for his $5 Million.

Combos don't really matter. If they don't work, then enact Plan B-Z, put 29 & 97 together. It's his only card it appears

Gameplan = Score on the rush and hope the rest will take care of itself.

Maybe we’ll look back at this missed game in a few years of Ovi comes one or two goals short of 99’s record.
