Brutal start from the refs. JP tripped, without the puck and no call.. shortly after JP waves stick and gets tripping penalty. I get be responsible with your stick but dear gravy makers

Org gains a guy who is arguably their best winger for less than Zack Kassian is making

I have very mixed emotions about Kane and have made a conscious decision to ignore the off ice accusations. On a personal level I met him once and he was a dick. The same weekend my brother and his young son met Kane and he was a gem to my nephew.
Even the locker room stuff I am choosing not to give opinions on.

I think adding a player of his potential contribution, at that price, doesnt come along very often. I am cautiously optimistic he will have a positive contribution.
I am keeping expectations low given it isn't easy to jump in midseason and fit into a new team. Even harder when you haven't been playing.

Hopefully he gets up to speed and game shape quick and can add some goals.

Love those low shots into traffic. Especially when a D is out with a grinder line. Hope to see more of that from the Bouch. Never know what kinda chaos or bounces you can make. We've had so little D over the years that can get a quick low shot like that anywhere near the net.

Nashville trying to be physical and Kass is quiet as a mouse. I guess this is partly why Kane is coming here.

If that Drai feed goes to anyone with mitts, it's in. But it was Kassian.

Oh man, Kosko shutting down the Preds top guys in the SO in spectacular fashion, was awesome, the one on Duchene was so sweet! (although it likely should have bee whistled dead because forward motion stopped)

Keith generally played well except for TWO super bad pinches, which summed up the Oilers problems, the defence seems to create their own problems, bad reads, poor positioning, all mental mistakes. So many Preds left alone in front of the net, losing open shooters for one timers in close, happened at least 2 or 3 times tonight, players get caught puck watching so often, take a glance over your shoulder once in a while bud.. common theme.
Same with too loose a gap.. Tippet has said that was not coached, they want it tighter.. is Playfair not getting the message through, or are the players just not able to remember and execute? Need to get that out of the game if they want to have any regular success.
