The Oilers started off slow for sure but they could have easily had 3 goals in that 2nd period against a non Carey Price goalie.

A big save here or there on the Oilers end would have made a big difference.

Kostko did save a breakaway. We were just running around clueless in our zone for the first half of the game.

Usual team depending on the odd flash of talent from 2 guys while getting dominated every other possible way all over the ice. Don't get an actual team effort until we're down 3-0 like the Eakins days.

Theyve been deflated since the Kahun no goal.

Pulju looks so tentative on the 1st line. Kid has a lot of nerves to battle through still this year.

Yeah. He’s all over the place. Granted, with Turris/Arch he’s been the transporter. With Connor/Nuge he’s gotta get to open ice as they’re the transporters.

Saw the same thing from AA in limited minutes with them. Looked lost as he wasn’t the transporter of the puck.

5-0. Ok, that takes us up to a 72% chance that we actually look competent in the 1st period next game.

I was expecting him to do the game plan of the night, “The extra pass into the lane”.

It even surprised Price that he shot.

He’s been a pleasant add. I thought he was RFA still but no dice. He’s a top 4 dman on this team. Nurse could learn a thing or 7 from him.

4K is probably in the top 6 of our best players so far this year. Solid pickup, and also quite a sad sign for the rest of our roster.
