Just tuning in now. I wrongly assumed that an Oilers home game on Saturday night would be the usual 8PM Alberta time...but nope we now have to live our lives according to Eastern schedule.

Like how SN decided that both of their 4K channels needed to show the Leafs game too.

Jones gets an interference pen in the first for rubbing a guy out with the puck past them already... Charot(sp?) assaults Nygard who’s reaching for the puck and literally nothing?

His back was to Nygard on that play, so it wasn't interference.

I can confirm. I always have a beer on the Habs/Oilers games with a few guys. I almost always win. Even our worst seasons we would win more than lose against the Habs.

How do they do this to themselves? Think it just starts with them heading out on the ice to start the game. Nature just takes its course after that ;)

Thinking only watch after an embarrassing loss. If they only lose by a tiny bit, there is still a chance they walk away satisfied with themselves and lay an egg next game.

Nurse-Bear pairing has some serious potential to be torture to watch this year. You had to expect Nurse to be an anchor for the pair, but he's just as lost as Bear, if not more.

The Oilers started off slow for sure but they could have easily had 3 goals in that 2nd period against a non Carey Price goalie.

A big save here or there on the Oilers end would have made a big difference.

The Oilers started off slow for sure but they could have easily had 3 goals in that 2nd period against a non Carey Price goalie.

A big save here or there on the Oilers end would have made a big difference.

Kostko did save a breakaway. We were just running around clueless in our zone for the first half of the game.

Usual team depending on the odd flash of talent from 2 guys while getting dominated every other possible way all over the ice. Don't get an actual team effort until we're down 3-0 and the other team starts to back off like the Eakins days.

Theyve been deflated since the Kahun no goal.
