Signed in the KHL today.

I don't think he was ever going to get back in to the plans for the team.

Remember when MacTavish suggested that trading Perron for him may have had as much impact as replacing Eakins with Nelson?

Klinkhammer is apparently doing well over in the KHL as are several other former Oilers...

...even Scrivens and Fasth seem to be doing fine...

Those Omark highlights are spectacular. Man that kid was good, wish it could have worked out for he and the Oilers.

"A deep playoff drive could put Scrivens back on the NHL radar for teams looking for a veteran backup."

Am I crazy? We could do worse...

Looks like MacT's theory was true. Klink is a catalyst.

klinkhammer just scorer the cup winning goal (only goal in the 1-0 win) in the KHL. Lander on the winning team too, assisted on the winner. Good for them.

So was all that bluster about Putin's team and the league being fixed for it just a bad reffing call or two getting blown out of proportion? SKA St. Peterburg didn't even make it to the final:

Was it just hot air from Slava Malamud? Or did something go wrong that they couldn't rig out?

Putin was probably throwing the rest of the league a bone after his stacked team won the Olympics.

Not worth it's own thread, but apparently Pakarinen is headed over there too.
